Hello, my name is Becky. I have been in the kitchen and bath industry
since 1979. And I love it. My father first owned the company before
myself, and I had been working with him since I was 10 years old. Home remodeling has always been an interest of mine. I can remember being
a young girl and admiring the work of my father, thinking to myself, that
one day, I too perhaps, might be as great as he.
Since then, I have received many awards and certifications and have been
published in several magazines, as well as news paper articles, for the work
I have done in the last 39 years I've been designing. I am a professional
Interior Designer and member of the American Society of Interior Designers.
I have also served on the board for a number of years on our local St. Louis chapter of the National Kitchen and Bath Association. I have a huge passion and drive to better people's lives either by beautifying their homes with a new kitchen or bath, or turning their home into an accessible, safe place where disabilities are no longer a disadvantage. My drive to help those with disabilities led me to become an approved contractor for the state of Missouri, which has given me the opportunity to design and create adaptive modifications and equipment working with the Department of Mental Health, the Regional Centers of Missouri, the Productive Living Board, The Center for Head Injury Services, The Developmental Disabilities Resource Board, Paraquad, the Mid-East Area Agency on Ageing, the Veterans Association, Cuivre River Electric Cooperative, the Arya Foundation, local city grants for Home Improvements, and a number of other associations geared towards adaptive living.
Choosing an Interior Designer for your project is one of the most important steps, and is the biggest one you will take. Taking
a "Leap of Faith" when accomplishing such a task is one way to do this. However, taking a "Direct and Correct Leap" might be
one more worth taking. Trusting someone not only with the future presentation of your home, which is a direct reflection upon yourself, you are also trusting them to have the knowledge and skills necessary to make your every dream into a reality, and that is what I do best. There is no task too large, no idea too grand. No price range unattainable, no material unmatchable.
A good challenge is one that excites me the most. I am worth your time, as well as your investment. I have a running list of referrals that will tell you just the same any time you call.
Designing kitchens and baths have been my speciality for many many years, however, I have also expanded out into other
areas as well such as designing entertainment areas, creating main-floor laundry from a closet, designing magnificent book shelves, creating beautiful mantels and fire places, display cabinets, wine racks, outdoor living areas, etc... and I'm always looking to further my creativity by designing something new and untried before.
